OUR INVENTORY

AFRICAN DREAM SEED (ENTADA RHEEDII)

African dream seed has antioxidant properties and is used as an anti-inflammatory, and to lower cholesterol and blood sugar.

​

The main use for this herb is to induce lucid and vivid dreams. It also aids in spirit communication, protection, astral and out of body experiences, and healing.

ALFALFA

Used for kidney, bladder, and prostate conditions, high cholesterol, arthritis pains, relieving menopausal symptoms, and controlling blood sugar. Very high nutritional value.

Great for money and prosperity. A nice herb to keep around the house as it protects the property and the people within from poverty and unhappiness. 

ANGELICA ROOT

Used for heartburn, gas, loss of appetite, circulation problems, and pain. Sedative herb for anxiety and sleep.

Known for being a powerful healing herb. Said to give strength to women and banish negativity, promote protection, divination, prosperity, and luck.

AGRIMONY

Chinese medicine often used Agrimony to treat menstrual difficulties and during the middle ages this herb was used frequently as a sleep aid. In North America agrimony was used for a variety of ailments by Native Americans and up until the late 19th century agrimony was used throughout Europe and North America to treat skin conditions, cough, sore throat, and diarrhea.

The herb has been used extensively in folklore. Witches often used agrimony in spells and to ward off hexes. When placed in a sachet and hung in the home, it was said to provide protection against goblins, evil spirits, and poisoning. Practitioners of voodoo use agrimony to repel jinxes and block curses. It is believed the herb not only repels jinxes and curses, it sends them back against their perpetrator. Today modern day wiccans often place leaves of the plant in pillowcases to ensure a good night's sleep.

ASHWAGANDHA

This herb is used for anxiety, depression, stress, fertility, reducing swelling, lower blood pressure, and anti-inflammatory. 

​

Uses include sexual energy, concentration, and love.

ASTRAGULUS

Astragalus has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. People sometimes use it on the skin for wound care. In addition, studies have shown that astragalus has antiviral properties and stimulates the immune system, suggesting that it may help prevent colds.

​

Astragalus Root Powder is generally used in spells to help with concentration and in rituals to help participants focus their energies. It is great for hex breaking and protection. It is often used in dedication and self-initiation rituals.

BAY LEAF

Used to treat gas, diabetes, inflammation, skin pain, joint pain, cold-like symptoms, and used for cancer prevention.

Magickally its used to induce prophetic visions and clairvoyance. Place a leaf under your pillow to aid in prophetic dreams. Its also used for protection and purification. 

BEARBERRY (UVA URSI)

Uva ursi has a history of medicinal use dating back to the 2nd century. It has been widely used as a diuretic, astringent, and antiseptic. Folk medicine around the world has recommended Uva Ursi for nephritis, kidney stones, and chronic cystitis. The herb has also been used as a general tonic for weakened kidneys, liver or pancreas. Native Americans used it as a remedy for headaches, to prevent and cure scurvy and to treat urinary tract infections. In fact, until the discovery of sulfa drugs and antibiotics, Uva ursi was the treatment of choice for such bladder and related infections.

Magickal lore surrounding Bearberry falls into two major areas: Psychic power/divination, and connection with the animal kingdom. Bearberry is said to align a person with their own inner strength, and to help connect with ancestral knowledge. Bearberry is especially favored by those who work with Bear energy. Shamans use Bearberry for shape-shifting magick. Healing (of others) and wisdom-seeking are other magickal properties of Bearberry.

BIRCH LEAF

Birch leaves are used to treat UTIs, as a diuretic, joint pain, boost immune system, and as an anti-inflammatory.

Uses include fertility, conception, renewal, protection, and purification.

BLACKBERRY LEAF

Blackberry leaves are anti-inflammatory antioxidants. It is great for any kind of sores, such as in the mouth or throat. It is also good for diarrhea, hemorrhoids, minor wounds, cough and toothache.

This herb has been used to return evil back to the sender and repel negative energy, it is a powerful protection herb. It is also used in money and healing spells. Sacred to the goddess Brigit and so is often used as offerings or in worship.

BLACK COHOSH ROOT

Great herb for women. Uses include menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, irritability, vaginal dryness, trouble sleeping, and vertigo.

Magickal uses include dispelling negative energies, protection, confidence, and impotency.

BLESSED THISTLE

Blessed thistle was commonly used during the Middle Ages to treat the bubonic plague and as a tonic for monks. Today, blessed thistle is prepared as a tea and used for loss of appetite and indigestion; and to treat colds, cough, cancer, fever, bacterial infections, and diarrhea.

Purification, protection against negativity and evil, hex breaking. Carry for strength and protection. Place a bowl of blessed thistle in a room to renew the vitality and strengthen the spirit of its occupants. Men who carry thistle become better lovers.

BLUE LOTUS

Blue lotus is a natural aphrodisiac. Uses include improved sleep, anxiety,  treat erectile dysfunction, digestive health, blood sugar balance, and reduce swelling.

Magickal uses include divination, connection with higher self, spirit communication, meditation, and knowledge. 

BONESET

Boneset was a favourite remedy of the Native North American tribes. The Menominees used it to reduce fever, the Iroquois and Mohegans for fever and colds, the Alabamas for upset stomachs and Creeks for body pain. Native Americans also used Boneset for arthritis, indigestion, constipation and loss of appetite.

​

Gather boneset and tie above doorways as a way to keep out evil spirits. It is an uncrossing herb, especially in baths. Carry boneset with angelica and devil’s shoestring in a bag to ward off hexes. Likewise, use to guard against unnatural illness. Other magical properties include rulership by the planet Saturn and the element of water.

BORAGE

Has sedative properties so it's used for anxiety or other disorders that cause restlessness. It's anti-inflammatory and aids in cough and cold symptoms.

Magickally it is used for courage, tranquility, dreams, astral travel, as well as promotion of happiness and peace.

BUCKTHORN

Used to aid in natural detoxification as well as any digestive problems because of its diuretic properties. 

​

For use in aid regarding legal matters, also used in protection, and exorcism spells. 

BURDOCK ROOT

Herbalists and others have long known that burdock is often used as a dietary aid to help cure different ailments such as sore throats, colds, blood purifiers, to combat hair loss and dandruff, to name a few. It also increases the flow of urine and is used as a tonic in mild doses and will increase sweating to remove toxins from the body.

Traditionally, the use of burdock as a medicine in China included the treatment of skin disorders, cleansing of the blood, as an effective treatment of impotence and barrenness in women. The use of the burdock root in Russia and India has also included treatment of certain types of cancer. The burdock is also a plant used in the treatment of burns, as it reduces pain and promotes healing.

Write wishes on Burdock leaves and burn them to make them come true. Infuse Burdock root in oil to make an ointment to relieve impotence and enhance male sexual performance. Carve the root into a figure and use as an amulet or talisman. Use in protection or health workings. Other magical properties include an association with feminine energies, Venus and the element of water. Represented in the tarot by the four of cups.

BUTCHERS BROOM ROOT

This herb is used for vascular related symptoms including pain, swelling, itching, and varicose veins. Its also used as a diuretic, an anti-inflammatory, treatment for circulatory diseases, and treatment of kidney stones.
